Terms, Policies & Payment Authorization
By submitting payment online, you agree to the following terms and policies for services provided by Start Washing Exteriors.
Payment Authorization
By entering your credit card or debit card information, you authorize Start Washing Exteriors to charge your card for the agreed-upon services, deposits, balances, fees, and any approved additional work.
Payment may be collected for:
Initial deposits
Final balances
Approved add-on services
Rescheduling or cancellation fees, when applicable
Outstanding invoices
All payments are processed securely through our online payment processor. Start Washing Exteriors does not store full credit card information.
Deposits
A deposit may be required to schedule and secure your appointment.
Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the job. Your appointment is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
Deposits may be non-refundable if the customer cancels without proper notice or fails to provide access to complete the job.
Final Payment
Final payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
If the customer is not home at the time of service, payment may be automatically charged to the card on file once the job is completed.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. Customers must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit or a cancellation fee.
Start Washing Exteriors may reschedule services due to weather, unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside of our control.
Weather Policy
Exterior cleaning services are weather-dependent. Rain does not always prevent work from being completed, but heavy storms, lightning, high winds, freezing temperatures, or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling.
If we need to reschedule due to weather, your deposit and appointment will be transferred to the next available date.
Customer Responsibilities
Before the scheduled service, the customer is responsible for:
Making sure all windows and doors are closed and locked
Providing access to a working water source
Moving vehicles, furniture, decorations, and fragile items away from work areas
Securing pets inside the home
Unlocking gates or access points
Informing us of any known leaks, loose siding, damaged surfaces, electrical issues, or areas of concern
Start Washing Exteriors is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, improper installation, oxidation, loose materials, or failure to prepare the property.
Property Access
By scheduling service, the customer grants Start Washing Exteriors permission to access the exterior areas of the property necessary to complete the agreed-upon work.
If our team arrives and cannot access the property, water source, or required work areas, the appointment may be considered a same-day cancellation and may be subject to a fee.
Scope of Work
The quoted price includes only the services listed in the estimate, invoice, or written agreement.
Additional work requested on-site may result in additional charges. Any additional work must be approved before being completed.
Pre-Existing Conditions
Exterior cleaning may reveal existing damage, wear, staining, oxidation, paint failure, wood rot, loose siding, leaking windows, faulty seals, or other property issues.
Start Washing Exteriors is not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions that become visible during or after cleaning.
Results Disclaimer
We aim to provide the best possible cleaning results. However, some stains may not be fully removable, including but not limited to:
Rust
Oil
Paint
Oxidation
Hard water stains
Artillery fungus
Mold or mildew staining below the surface
Aged or neglected surfaces
Cleaning results may vary based on the age, condition, material, and maintenance history of the surface.
Damage Claims
Any concerns or damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
Start Washing Exteriors reserves the right to inspect the property before determining responsibility. Claims reported after 24 hours may not be eligible for review.
Refund Policy
Due to the labor, materials, scheduling, and service-based nature of our work, all completed services are generally non-refundable.
If there is a concern with the completed service, the customer must contact us within 24 hours so we can review and address the issue.
Refunds, partial refunds, or re-cleans are issued at the discretion of Start Washing Exteriors.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By submitting payment, the customer agrees to contact Start Washing Exteriors directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
If a chargeback is filed for completed or approved work, Start Washing Exteriors reserves the right to provide all signed agreements, invoices, photos, communication records, and service documentation to the payment processor.
The customer may be responsible for any chargeback fees, collection costs, or legal fees related to unpaid balances.
Late Payments
Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to late fees, collection efforts, or suspension of future services.
Start Washing Exteriors reserves the right to charge the card on file for any approved unpaid balance.
Photos & Videos
Start Washing Exteriors may take before-and-after photos or videos for documentation, quality control, training, or marketing purposes.
We will not share private personal information, addresses, or sensitive customer details without permission.
Liability
Start Washing Exteriors carries out services with care and professionalism. However, the customer acknowledges that exterior cleaning involves water, cleaning solutions, hoses, equipment, and surface interaction.
Start Washing Exteriors is not liable for damage caused by:
Pre-existing property issues
Improper installation
Unsecured items
Open windows or doors
Faulty seals
Electrical issues
Loose fixtures
Oxidized surfaces
Previously damaged materials
The customer's failure to prepare the property
Agreement
By submitting payment, approving an estimate, or scheduling service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Policies.
